June 3rd PD Follow Up/Discontinued Materials Policy

Today's blog has a follow up to yesterday's professional learning as well as the policy for discontinued curriculum materials.

June 3rd Professional Learning

If people think that teachers don't work hard after the students leave, then they haven't been to Southeast Polk!  Your participation and engagement in yesterday's sessions was very much appreciated. A big thank you to those who shared and facilitated sessions yesterday.  The presentations and slide decks have been uploaded to the SEP Professional Development Site.

Discontinued Curriculum Materials

It's that time of year when we go through our materials and clean out the things we no longer need or use.  We are not able to store curriculum materials we no longer use at the TLRC warehouse or the Buildings and Grounds warehouse.  Many people have been inquiring about what to do with discontinued materials.  Below is the district policy for this process.  For the most part, these materials may be given to students or recycled.
