Description: This refresher session provides a brief overview of the Gradual Release Model of Responsibility, specifically Collaborative Learning as a vital component to the model. Southeast Polk Emergency Interpretation Procedures

Description: In the event of a medical emergency, mental health emergency, or emergency with police involvement, this is a district-wide procedure to immediately contact an interpreter to communicate with a non-English speaking parent.
Math Reveal Training

Tiered Task Cards

Description: Tiered Task Cards are an instructional tool that supports student ownership of learning, differentiation, and cross-disciplinary work. Tiered Task Cards are linked to the learning progressions of the standards, and support the work of collaborative teams. Examples at both the elementary and secondary levels will be provided, and participants will have the opportunity to frame the outline of Tiered Task Cards to be used in the upcoming school year.
Building Vocabulary in Early Childhood (birth to 8)

Description: This session will focus on expanding language with young learners. It will include tips on how to use the Expanding Expressive Tool, choosing Tier 2/robust vocabulary words and how to introduce the magic of words in the classroom.
